Grainier Perera

Grainier Perera has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. They started their career as an Associate Software Engineer (Intern) at Zone24x7 in 2013. After that, they joined WSO2 in 2015 and progressed through various roles, including Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Associate Technical Lead, and finally Technical Lead, before leaving in June 2021. During their time at WSO2, Grainier also served as a PMC - Apache StreamPipes and a Committer - Apache StreamPipes at The Apache Software Foundation from 2020 onwards. Currently, from July 2021, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Macrometa.

Grainier Perera completed their education at the University of Westminster from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Software Engineering. Prior to attending university, Grainier Perera studied at Maris Stella College Negombo, although the specific degree and field of study during this time are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Grainier Perera has also obtained certifications in various fields. Grainier completed a course on "Apache Flink | A Real Time & Hands-On" at Udemy in May 2021. In October 2016, they achieved a certification in "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" from Coursera Course Certificates. These certifications suggest a continued interest in expanding their knowledge and skills beyond their formal education.
