Monica Berrondo

Monica Berrondo is the CEO of Macromoltek Inc., a company dedicated to streamlining the biopharmaceutical research process, since October 2010. In addition to leading Macromoltek, Monica serves as a General Partner at Brazen Bio and previously held the position of Chair for the Austin Chapter of Women In Bio. Monica's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, where research focused on protein structure and function. Prior experience includes roles at Johns Hopkins University as a postdoctoral researcher, managing member at Rosetta Design Group LLC, and research positions at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Brigham Young University, with expertise in protein modeling and molecular dynamics simulations.
