Rassie Pieterse Oly

Rassie Pieterse OLY is a distinguished sports executive and former professional athlete with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Macron in South Africa since May 2023 and as the Chief Executive Officer of Zone23 (Pty) Ltd. since May 2020, Rassie has also held the position of Managing Director at TK Sports (Pty) Ltd. since 2009, overseeing brands such as TK Hockey Equipment and SHREY Cricket Helmets. Rassie played as a goalkeeper for the South African Hockey Team from January 2007 to August 2021, participating in multiple Olympic Games and World Cups, and holds numerous accolades, including Africa Cup victories. Rassie also has experience as Business Director at Urū Sports and Brand Manager at James Gilbert Rugby, alongside a solid educational foundation with two Bachelor of Technology degrees from the University of Johannesburg and Tshwane University of Technology.
