Laurie Zalac

Laurie Zalac started their career as a Customer Relations Manager at Absolute Pharmacy in 2001. Laurie then worked as an Independent Agent at Freight All Kinds from 2003 to 2009, where they successfully managed a fleet of owner-operators and developed a significant book of business. In 2009, Laurie joined FedEx Truckload Brokerage as a Senior Logistics Account Manager, where they achieved the Certified Transportation Broker #1504 and received the President's Club Award in 2013 and 2014. Laurie was responsible for prospecting, negotiating, and closing contractual business while managing the entire shipment process. Laurie joined Descartes MacroPoint in 2016, initially as a National Account Manager, and later became the Director of National Accounts. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Enterprise Sales Director. Laurie then returned to Descartes MacroPoint in 2017 as a Senior Sales Executive. Throughout their career, Laurie has demonstrated expertise in sales, account management, and building strong relationships with customers and carriers.

Laurie Zalac, CTB holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Liberty International University, which was completed in 2014. Laurie also attended Florida International University from 1992 to 1993, but no degree or field of study is specified. In 2011, Laurie obtained the certification of Certified Transportation Broker (CTB).
