Ashley Buchanan

Ashley Buchanan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Michaels Companies, Inc., leading a team of 45,000 members to enhance the brand's growth and creativity. In addition, Ashley is a member of the Board of Directors for Macy's and has held significant positions at Walmart as Executive Vice President and Chief Merchant for U.S. eCommerce, and previously as Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandise Officer at Sam's Club. Ashley's extensive experience at Walmart also includes various senior merchandising roles. Before joining Walmart, Ashley worked at Dell as a Finance Manager and at Accenture as a Manager in the Retail Practice. Ashley holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from Baylor University.
