Sampada Marathe is currently the User Experience Research Lead at Macy's, a position held since April 2023. With extensive experience in user experience research, Sampada has also served as a UX Mentor since 2005, guiding students and junior researchers. Previous roles include Senior User Research Manager at Wayfair, where significant contributions were made towards defining design visions and creating research roadmaps, and positions at Ericsson and HERE, where user-centered design was championed. Sampada began a career in research as a User Experience Researcher at Caradigm and GE Healthcare IT, and holds a Ph.D. in Media Effects from Penn State University along with a Bachelor of Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
