Arunbabu Dhamodaran currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science, a position held since April 2016. Prior to this role, Arunbabu was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Concordia University from January 2015 to December 2015, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of self-healing polymeric materials. Additionally, contributions were made as a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University from February 2013 to October 2014, working on nanoimpregnated filter papers for water purification applications, and at the University of Waterloo from June 2011 to November 2012, specializing in bioinspired material synthesis and characterization. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry obtained from the University of Hyderabad (2005-2011) and an M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Madras (2002-2004).
