Jack Deland

Jack DeLand is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technical writing, consulting, and training. Currently serving as the Webmaster for the James Fenimore Cooper Society, Jack has also held long-term roles with Adam Charles Consulting, LLC since 1975 as a tYpoGraphiCaL tOuRist and Help Consultant. Jack is a certified trainer and advanced developer with MadCap Software, providing Flare-based consulting and training globally, and is a member of the Information 4.0 Consortium. Previous positions include Documentation Group Lead at WorkForce Software, Senior Technical Writer at Arbor Networks, and Information Architect at HBM-nCode, among others. Jack's academic qualifications include a BA and MA in English Literature from SUNY Binghamton, PhD coursework in Literary Criticism from the University of Michigan, and multiple certificates from prestigious institutions, including Cornell University and MIT.
