Shawn Austin

Shawn Austin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shawn'smost recent role was as the President of Made by Gather, starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Bed Bath & Beyond as the VP/General Merchandise Manager from August 2018 to November 2020.

Shawn spent a significant part of their career at Macy's, where they held various leadership positions. From April 2015 to September 2017, they served as the Omni General Merchandise Manager/Executive Vice President of Macy's Home Store. Before that, they were the Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager of macys.com from May 2014 to April 2015.

Additionally, Shawn held roles such as Group Vice President, DMM Intimate Apparel and Hosiery from May 2012 to May 2014, Group Vice President, DMM Fragrances from March 2010 to May 2012, and Vice President, DMM Housewares from March 2004 to March 2010.

Prior to their tenure at Macy's, Shawn worked as a Buyer at both Linens 'N Things from 2001 to 2003 and Macy's from June 1997 to March 2001.

Shawn Austin attended Hong Kong International School from 1992 to 1993. Following this, from 1993 to 1997, they studied at the University of Delaware, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations.
