Tessa Gould has held a variety of roles in the media and tech industries since 2012. In 2012, they were a Senior Manager, Global Strategy & Operations at AOL. In 2013, they became the Head of Native Advertising & Founder of HuffPost Partner Studio at HuffPost. In 2014, they were the Head of Commerce and Vice President of Ad Innovation, Strategy, and Operations at BuzzFeed. In 2015, they were a Board Member at Gateway Blend, LLC. In 2017, they became the Chief Operating Officer of mindbodygreen.com, where they won two Webby Awards in 2018 and 2017. In 2019, they were an Advisor at Elektra Health and the Head of Revenue & Growth at SoulCycle Inc. In 2020, they were a Founding Member at Kindred and the Group CMO & Head of Growth at Kinship, a division of Mars PetCare. In 2021, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Made by Nacho, founded by Chef Bobby Flay and their cat Nacho.

Tessa Gould holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Double Major: Accounting & Management) from The University of Auckland, a RYT 200hr Teacher Training from Lighthouse Yoga Studio, and a LLB (Hons) Bachelor of Law (Honors) from The University of Auckland.
