Oscar Flores Guri

Oscar Flores Guri has a diverse work experience. From 2005 to 2008, they were an Activities Coordinator and IT Commission Chair at Col·legis Majors Penyafort-Montserrat-Llull. In 2013, they were a Visiting PhD Student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and from 2009 to 2015 they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and Predoctoral Researcher at IRB Barcelona. During this same time period, they were also the Chief Executive Officer of both Made of Genes and Genomcore.

Oscar Flores Guri has an extensive education history. Oscar completed an Executive MBA from Esade in Business Administration and Management from 2013-2014. Oscar then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedicine from Universitat de Barcelona from 2009-2014. Prior to that, they earned an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2003-2009. Oscar also obtained University Extension titles in Psychology & Political Philosophy from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2005-2012. Oscar additionally earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biomedicine from Universitat de Barcelona from 2009-2010 and a Diploma in Business/Managerial Economics from Universitat de Barcelona from 2007-2009. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Richi Social Enterpreneurs - Boston Inmersion from Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation in July 2016, Leading in a Global Context from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business in November 2014, Growth and Development in Emerging Markets from Indian School of Business in June 2014, and Managing Change in Organizations from HEC Paris Executive Education in January 2014.
