Chasey Davies-Wrigley

Chasey Davies-Wrigley has extensive work experience in various roles within the software engineering and development field. Starting in 1999, Davies-Wrigley held positions at Ciber Global, where they worked as a Software Development Team Lead. During this time, they were responsible for capturing requirements and leading project teams. In 2003, they joined CSC UKI, specializing in outsourced back-office solutions. At CSC UKI, Davies-Wrigley maintained existing IT solutions and expanded them to meet business demands. They utilized Java, JSP, Javascript, and Oracle for these projects. From 2008 to 2014, Davies-Wrigley served as a Senior Software Development Team Lead at ASAP Ventures, previously known as carrentals.co.uk. They then moved on to Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police in 2014 as a Principal Computer Development Specialist, developing an automated system for police warrants. Davies-Wrigley continued their career at Arvato UK in 2014, working as a Technical Specialist and Team Lead, responsible for implementing and maintaining technical solutions and systems. In 2018, they joined ERS as a Lead Bespoke Software Development Manager and later became a Technical Project Lead and Software Developer. Currently, Davies-Wrigley is employed at Made Tech, where they hold the position of Principal Technologist and have recently transitioned to the role of Principal Data Engineer.

Chasey Davies-Wrigley obtained an MSc degree in Computer Science from Aberystwyth University in 1998. Prior to that, they completed a BscEcon degree in International Politics at Aberystwyth University from 1994 to 1997. In 2008, they received a PGCE with Distinction in Post 16 teaching Adults from the University of Wales, Newport.

Additionally, Chasey obtained various certifications throughout their career. In January 2022, they became a STEM Ambassador from STEM Ambassadors. In June 2021, they obtained the AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation and the AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2019, they achieved the BFA certification and became a Mental Health First Aider from St John Ambulance. Chasey also holds the Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Platform Essentials, and has a PRINCE 2 certification.
