Katie Long

Katie Long is an experienced mathematics educator currently serving as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Madison Elementary School District since August 2022. Prior to this role, Katie taught high school mathematics at Glenview College Preparatory High School and EMPOWER COLLEGE PREP, where responsibilities included lesson planning, curriculum development, and student assessment. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Customer Service Engineer at ChargePoint, focusing on organizational improvement and customer satisfaction, and co-owning Fratellis Bistro, where Katie directed operations and human resources to achieve significant business success. Katie holds a Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Mathematics from The University of New Mexico.
