Sharona Kahn

Sharona Kahn is an experienced educator specializing in mathematics, currently serving as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Berkeley Carroll School since August 2018. Previously, Kahn taught mathematics at Kinneret Day School Inc for seven years, where responsibilities included designing differentiated lessons aligned with Common Core standards, providing academic support for diverse learners, and mentoring new teachers. Additional experience includes site direction with International Ivy Educational Programs, swimming instruction management at 92nd Street Y, and tutoring for students with learning disabilities at Democracy Prep Public Schools. Kahn holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Marygrove College and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Mathematics from Barnard College.
