Scott Schmitt

Scott Schmitt started their career in 1993 as a Financial Planning Manager at AT&T, where they worked until 1998. Scott then moved on to UnitedHealth Group, where they worked as a Supervisor of Planning and Analysis from 1998 to 1999. In 1999, they joined Deluxe Corporation as a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, a role they held until 2001. In that same year, Schmitt joined Madison Gas and Electric, where they had various roles including Director of Finance & Business Planning and Director of Customized Energy Products and Services. In these roles, they managed teams, developed new product offerings, collaborated with cross-functional teams, obtained necessary approvals, and negotiated vendor agreements, among other responsibilities.

Scott Schmitt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Luther College from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Wisconsin School of Business, where they studied from 2006 to 2009.
