Aaria Malhotra

Aaria Malhotra is an experienced professional in community engagement and research, currently serving as a Senior Resident at UVA Housing and Residence Life since August 2020, overseeing staff, developing programs, and managing budgets. In addition, Aaria holds the position of Outreach Assistant for the National Crisis Hotline, promoting crisis intervention services, and has been an Operations Assistant at the University of Virginia Newcomb Hall, managing front desk operations. Aaria has a background in research as a Research Assistant at the James Morris Social Neuroscience Lab, involved in EEG administration and blood processing protocols. Previous roles include Mathematics Tutor for incoming first-year students, Resident Advisor, and Chair of the Mentorship Committee for the Echols Council. Aaria completed a B.A. in Neuroscience and a B.A. in Spanish at the University of Virginia, following graduation with an Advanced Studies Diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
