Craig Benson, JD MBA

Craig Benson, JD MBA, has had a diverse work experience. From 1979 to 2015, they worked as an attorney at Craig Benson Attorney at Law, PC. Craig then transitioned into strategic business planning consulting and founded Benson Consulting Associates, Inc. in 2010, where they provided services to business owners, focusing on risk transfer to participatory reinsurance structures. In 2014, they joined Captive Alternatives as a Strategic Business Planner & Special Projects, where they played a key role in the establishment and development of international insurance writers and reinsurance companies in Puerto Rico. Since 2015, they have been providing customized independent contractor business consulting services under their own company, Benson Consulting Associates Inc., helping business owners accelerate their financial and retirement outcomes.

Craig Benson earned their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Tufts University from 1968 to 1971. Craig then pursued further education at Boston University School of Theology and obtained a Th.M. degree, completing their studies from 1971 to 1974. Later, they attended the IU School of Law & Kelley School of Business from 1976 to 1979, earning both a JD and MBA degree with a focus on business accounting and finance.
