Jack Mlsna

Jack Mlsna has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jack started their career as a Microwave Communication Systems Technician in the U.S. Army from 1980 to 1984. Following that, they worked as an Electronics Field Engineer at Foxmeyer Pharmaceutical Corporation from 1985 to 1987.

Jack then transitioned into the IT field, working as a Computer Programmer/Analyst at Northwestern Steel & Wire from 1990 to 1995. In 1995, they were promoted to Senior Computer Programmer/Analyst, and eventually became a Supervisor of Applications Development and Computer Operations from 1997 to 2001.

From 2001 to 2005, Jack worked as an Analyst/Programmer at Raynor Garage Doors, where they were part of a team that successfully led a system conversion project.

Jack then joined JBS Packerland as an IT Project Manager from 2005 to 2009, where they coordinated with senior leadership, defined requirements, developed project plans, and ensured projects were completed on time and within budget.

Jack's next role was at the University of Wisconsin - Marinette, where they served as the Director of Information and Instructional Technology from 2010 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for managing system architecture, leading capital projects, strategic planning, and collaborating with other organizational leaders to improve processes and reduce costs.

Jack'smost recent position is the Director of Information Technology at Madison-Kipp Corporation, which they have held since 2016.

Jack Mlsna obtained a Certificate in Electronic Servicing Program from Western Wisconsin Technical College in 1984-1985. Jack then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management & Information Systems from Northern Illinois University between 1988 and 1990. Later, they pursued an MBA degree in Business Administration from Capella University from 2002 to 2004.
