Emily Peffer

Emily Peffer is an experienced Recreation Specialist currently employed at Madison School & Community Recreation since September 2013, where responsibilities include supervising teambuilding programs and managing outdoor challenge courses. Emily also serves as an Instructor in Fitness and Recreation Management at Madison Area Technical College since August 2020. Previous roles include Facilitator/Trainer at Challenge Towers, Temporary Logistics Manager at KilopUSA, and varied positions in educational and recreational settings, including an internship focused on LGBTQA activism at Guilford College. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Women and Gender Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from Appalachian State University, and an Associate of Arts in Communication from Central Piedmont Community College.
