Martha Hutchinson is an experienced arts and community engagement professional with a background in program coordination and development. Currently serving as the Adult Arts Specialist at Madison School & Community Recreation since June 2019, Martha has previously held roles such as Community Engagement Manager and Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator at the Alzheimer's Association® from August 2016 to June 2019. Martha's earlier experience includes managing youth and community programs at the Peninsula School of Art and serving as an Arts Administration Intern at The Linden Centre. Significant contributions were made as a tutor and education specialist, as well as a facilitator in the University of Minnesota’s Girls Leadership Program, where Martha enhanced leadership skills among high school students. An educational foundation in Global Studies was established at the University of Minnesota, complemented by international experience promoting educational development for young women while studying in Senegal.

MSCR is a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District, providing public recreation and after school programming for the Madison community since 1926.
