Peter Harsy

Peter Harsy is an experienced lawyer who has worked for various companies in the energy and real estate sectors. Peter co-founded KH LAW LLC in 2017 and worked as a partner there until 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the General Counsel at Lincoln Clean Energy, where they handled transactional matters related to wind, solar, and gas projects. Before that, Harsy worked as an Assistant Counsel at The Inland Real Estate Group, starting in 2006. More recently, they founded Madison Street Energy in 2020, which provides lease monetization options to landowners and qualified investors. Peter currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Madison Street Renewables, which they joined in 2022.

Peter Harsy obtained a high school diploma in College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program from Marian Catholic High School in 1996. Peter then studied Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities at St. Clare's, Oxford in a semester abroad program in 1998-1999. In 2000, they earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of San Diego. From 2003-2005, Peter Harsy went to DePaul University College of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Peter also received additional certifications, one being with the New York State Unified Court System, obtaining the State of New York Bar in 2009, and the other with the ARDC: Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois, obtaining the State of Illinois Bar in October of 2005.
