Vinay Hegde

Vinay Hegde has extensive work experience in the advertising and media industry. Vinay currently holds the position of Chief Buying Officer at Madison World, a role they have held since October 2016. Vinay also served as the Sr Vice President - Trading at Madison World from October 2016 to November 2019.

Prior to joining Madison World, Vinay worked at Starcom Mediavest Group, India as the National Trading Director from June 2015 to September 2016. Vinay was responsible for trading operations in both Mumbai and Delhi.

Before that, Vinay had a short stint at The Walt Disney Company India as the Director - Revenue Strategy from December 2014 to June 2015.

Vinay's longest tenure was at Mindshare, Group M Media Pvt Ltd, where they served as the Principal Partner - Exchange from November 2005 to November 2014. In this role, they were the trading lead and responsible for benchmarking, pricing, budgeting, deal-making, and developing new templates.

Prior to Mindshare, Vinay worked at JWT (Part of Hindustan Thompson Associates Limited) as the Manager - Commercial & ICP from November 1999 to October 2005.

Vinay'searly career was at Percept Advertising Limited, where they held the position of Manager - Media Billing and Accounts from November 1997 to October 1999.

Vinay Hegde pursued a Master's degree in Finance (MFM) from the Jamnalal Bajaj Insititute for Management Studies. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from Ruparel College, Mumbai University.
