Ignacio Lago Fernandez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at Microsoft since 1996, currently serving as Consulting Solutions & Strategy Director for Azure Cloud & AI, where Ignacio defines global strategies to integrate AI into enterprise applications. Additional roles at Microsoft include Sustainability Ambassador and various managerial positions focusing on digital transformation and sustainability initiatives. Ignacio is also an angel investor with COREangels Climate and COREangels Madrid, supporting startups addressing climate change and sustainability. As a lecturer at IE Business School and Universidad Europea, Ignacio teaches subjects related to sustainable technology, digital transformation, and marketing. Ignacio holds a Master’s degree in Renewable Energies and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, complemented by management education from IESE Business School.
