Niels Poulsen

Niels Poulsen is an R&D manager at Maersk Container Industry, specializing in the development of StarCool reefer machines since February 2014. Niels leads a team of six engineers focused on enhancing energy efficiency and delivering value to customers. Previously, Niels worked as an R&D engineer at Inbicon from April 2009 to January 2014, where responsibilities included product development in advanced biomass refineries. Niels also served as Manager of R&D at Maersk Container Industry AS from April 2005 to April 2009, overseeing multidisciplinary engineering tasks, including the development of controlled atmosphere technologies for reefer containers. Niels holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Ingeniørhøjskolen Horsens, earned between 2002 and 2004.
