Michael Koefoed

Michael Koefoed is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Maersk Supply Service. Michael has previously held the Interim Chief Financial Officer / Head of Finance position at Maersk Supply Service from February 2016 to October 2018. Michael was responsible for accounting, reporting, controlling, tax, FP&A and treasury while in this role. Prior to that, Michael Koefoed was the Interim regional CFO, Australasia at Svitzer Australia from November 2011 to January 2016. In this role, they led finance, legal and compliance functions reporting into the regional managing director. Michael was responsible for accounting, reporting, audit, financial planning and analysis, treasury and capital structure while in this role. Michael Koefoed also spent time as the Head of Funding at A.P. Moller - Maersk from October 2018 to March 2021. In this role, they were responsible for Maersk Group credit rating, bank relationship, DCM and funding. Michael Koefoed began their career at Maersk Line where they spent 6 years as the Senior General Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis from June 2005 to November 2011.

Michael Koefoed studied economics at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen and Virum Gymnasium before completing their schooling at Lundtofte Skole.

Michael Koefoed reports to Steen S. Karstensen, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Jonas Munch Agerskov - Chief Commercial Officer, Mark Handin - Chief Operating Officer, and Olivier Trouvé - Head of Integrated Solutions.
