Shekhar Tajanpure

Shekhar Tajanpure has a diverse range of experience in finance and accounting roles. Shekhar started their career at Maersk Global Service Centres in 2010 as a Process Expert Finance & Accounts, where they provided financial information to management and prepared balance sheets and profit and loss statements. In 2014, Shekhar joined Travelex as a Financial Analyst, supporting several business units and analyzing costs and expenses. Shekhar later became a Senior Financial Analyst, responsible for developing detailed spreadsheets and consolidating monthly results. In 2018, Shekhar joined Maersk Tankers as an Associate Finance Controller before being promoted to Finance Team Lead in 2023.

Shekhar Tajanpure completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2007 to 2009. Currently, Shekhar is pursuing a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) degree in Accounting and Finance. Shekhar has additional certifications in Project Management Techniques and Fundamentals with Agile from KnowledgeHut, IFRS Participation from EY in 2018, and Six Sigma White Belt and Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Maersk Line and International Six Sigma Institute™ respectively.
