Maria Iben Matthiesen has extensive experience in leadership roles within the field of human resources and operations, currently serving as Chief People Officer at Maersk Training since November 2005. Previously, Maria held various positions at Maersk Training, including Head of Operations, HSEQ and HR, and Head of Human Resources, contributing to the management team and overseeing business support functions. Prior to this, Maria worked as a Sales Executive at Bardram HealthCare Aps. from August 2004 to October 2005, focusing on tenders for relief organizations. Maria holds a Business Economics Diploma in International Business from Copenhagen Business School, completed in 2004.
