William Montanaro

William Montanaro has had a varied and successful career. William began their professional journey in 2006 as a Programmer at Kent State University. William then worked as a Graduate Assistant at the same university from 2008 to 2014. In 2014, they became an Assistant Professor at Langston University. In 2016, they moved to OCC as a BPM Manager, where they designed, built, tested, and documented integrations between various cloud-based and on-prem systems using Python, shell scripts, SQL, and UC4/Automata. William also configured and administered JIRA and trained other users on its use. In 2018, they joined FarmLogix as VP of Technology and Senior Technology and Business Intelligence Manager.

William Montanaro has a long history of education. William obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Physics from Kent State University between 2003 and 2007. William then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics from Kent State University between 2003 and 2013. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from Kent State University between 2007 and 2014. In addition, they obtained a certification in Cryptography I from Coursera in March 2015.
