Matthew Parry is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in landing gear systems. Currently serving as the Head of Landing Gear Systems at Maeve Aerospace since March 2024, Matthew previously held the position of Section Lead for Landing Gear Systems at Heart Aerospace from January 2023 to March 2024. A significant portion of Matthew's career was spent at Airbus from October 2000 to January 2023, where roles included Chief Engineer's Office for the A320 Programme and Head of Engineering for both the A320 Family and A350-1000 landing gear systems. Matthew's expertise encompasses operational management, technical analysis, project management, and representation before certification authorities. Academically, Matthew holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Southampton, a Master's in Industrial Materials Engineering from the University of Liverpool, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Newcastle University.
