Mathews Scharch

Mathews Scharch is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in aerospace and defense. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager at MAG Aerospace since March 2020, Mathews leads a 15-member team in designing and developing aircraft modifications and integrations. Prior roles include Chief of the Technical Foundations Division at the Air Force Agency for Modeling & Simulation, where oversight of modernization efforts for the Air Force's operational training infrastructure occurred, and F-35 Chief Engineer at the Defense Contract Management Agency, responsible for quality oversight of significant DoD and NASA programs. Mathews has also contributed to advanced manufacturing research at the Air Force Research Laboratory and managed significant program initiatives during tenure at NASIC. Mathews holds a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
