Inka Mirkovic has extensive work experience in the robotics field. They began their career at AVL as a Software Developer Intern, where they gained foundational experience in software development. In 2016, they joined JOANNEUM RESEARCH Forschungsgesellschaft mbH as a Robotics Research Engineer, focusing on collaborative robotic applications, ROS-based robotic applications, and perception mechanisms. They also worked on deep supervised learning and deep reinforcement learning for robot control policies. In 2019, they joined F&P Robotics as a Robotics Simulation Engineer, specializing in simulation work. Currently, they are working at Magazino GmbH, where they have held multiple roles. They started as a Performance & Quality Roboticist, responsible for camera calibration, integration, and maintenance. They then progressed to Senior Performance & Quality Roboticist and currently hold the position of Senior Robot Software Engineer.
Inka Mirkovic pursued their education in the field of Control Engineering and Automation, Robotics. Inka obtained a Bachelor's degree from FER (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing) from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree at the same institution from 2014 to 2016, specializing in Control Engineering and Automation, Robotics. In addition to their academic degrees, they also obtained the certification of Deep Reinforcement Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in September 2019. Furthermore, Inka Mirkovic received an EF Cambridge English certification from EF Education First in September 2012.
