Jim Prothe has a diverse work experience in the marketing field. Jim started their career as a Market Research Manager at Harper College in 2001. Later, they worked as a Marketing Analyst at Greenbrier & Russel from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they joined SPSS Inc. as a Marketing Programs Manager. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Model Metrics as a Marketing Director. During their time there, they successfully launched an enterprise mobility practice and generated $2.5m in business within 2 years. Jim also brought on a PR firm to increase market awareness and launched a salesforce.com practice, generating $3m in business within 1 year. After that, they worked at Sonoma Partners as a Marketing Director from 2011 to 2015, where they managed inside sales, a team of Sales Engineers, and oversaw creative development. Since 2016, they have been working at Magenium as a Marketing Director.

Jim Prothe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include the Windows 11 Pro Accreditation 2021 from Microsoft in February 2022, the Microsoft Teams Rooms Solution Sales Professional certification from Microsoft in January 2022, the Inbound Marketing certification from HubSpot Academy in May 2019, the Onboarding Certification from ClickDimensions in June 2018, the Master Mason certification from SteelBrick in April 2016, the SteelBrick Certified Admin certification from SteelBrick in April 2016, the Salesforce Certified Administrator certification from Salesforce in May 2015, the Presales Technical Specialist certification from Microsoft in November 2014, and the Google Display Ads Certified and Google Ads Fundamentals certifications from Google Ads in March 2019 and January 2019 respectively.
