Amit Patel is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Manager of Connected Services at Magic Leap since November 2015, Amit has spearheaded the development of spatial computing platforms, focusing on device middleware and cloud services. Prior to this role, Amit dedicated over 21 years to Motorola Mobility, progressing through various engineering and management positions, including Software Engineering Manager and Principal Staff Software Engineer. Notable achievements include developing a scalable, multi-tenant platform for MotoTALK, capable of serving millions of concurrent mobile users, and managing cross-functional teams for web and mobile application development across the globe. Amit holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gujarat University.
