Jacqueline Zimmermann

Jacqueline Zimmermann, Ph.D., serves as the Lead Behavioral Scientist at Magic Leap since November 2022. Prior to this role, Jacqueline gained extensive experience at Exponent, where responsibilities included leading multidisciplinary teams in human factors and user experience assessment across various industries, along with serving as a human factors expert witness in court. Jacqueline has held academic positions at the University of Toronto, instructing courses in psychology and contributing to course design and student mentoring. Additional research experience includes identifying cognitive impairments associated with Alzheimer's risk genes at the University of Oxford and conducting psychometric testing at the Maple Leaf Clinic for HIV/AIDS patients. Jacqueline's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Toronto, complemented by a Master's degree in Experimental Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
