John Aguirre

John Aguirre is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in mechanical and thermal engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Thermal Engineer at Magic Leap since May 2015, John has also held roles as Lead Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer within the same company. Prior to this, John contributed as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Motorola Solutions from August 2009 to May 2015 and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at The Bionetics Corp. from September 2008 to February 2009. John's career began in academia as a Research Assistant at the University of Miami's Aerodynamics and CFD Laboratory from May 2006 to August 2008. John holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering (BSASE), both from the University of Miami.
