Mauro Melli

Mauro Melli is an accomplished Principal Nanofabrication Engineer at Magic Leap, with a career spanning from July 2015 to the present, where noteworthy roles included Lead Nanofabrication Engineer and Senior Nanofabrication Engineer. Previously, Mauro was a Materials Postdoc Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from October 2011 to July 2015, focusing on exciton diffusion in organic semiconductors and nanofabrication optimization. Earlier experience includes a post-doctoral position at CNR, where Mauro contributed to a project on micromechanical sensor systems for biomolecule detection. Mauro holds a PhD in Nanotechnology and Biophysics from Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati di Trieste and a Laurea in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano, complemented by an Erasmus experience at Queen Mary University of London.
