Mohsen Ewaida

Mohsen Ewaida is a seasoned professional in the field of computer vision and digital signal processing, currently serving as a Staff DSP Software Engineer at Magic Leap since May 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior AI Hardware Researcher at ETH Zürich, where Ewaida focused on optimizing AI accelerators for machine learning and deep learning architectures, as well as integrating modern hardware with database systems. Ewaida also founded and led SnowBell AI, achieving significant performance improvements in deploying machine learning algorithms on FPGA devices. Furthermore, Ewaida has a strong academic background with postdoctoral research at EPFL, experience as an Assistant Professor at Birzeit University, and holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Thessaly.
