Rivera Jose is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in manufacturing and operations management. Currently serving as the Director of Mechanical Fab Operations at Magic Leap since August 2021, Rivera brings a strong track record of strategic leadership and team development from previous roles, including Vice President of Engineering at Syncron EMS, where responsibilities included aligning engineering priorities with business strategy. Prior to that, Rivera managed teams at SMTC Corporation and Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc., focusing on manufacturing excellence through Six Sigma methodologies. Rivera began a career at Maxima Technologie as a Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager, leading cross-functional teams in SMT manufacturing.
