Zachary Llaneras

Zachary Llaneras is a seasoned optical engineer with extensive experience at Magic Leap, where contributions as Lead Optical Engineer, Senior Optical Engineer, Optical Systems Engineer, and Optical Systems Technician have been instrumental since April 2016. Prior to this, Zachary served as an Engineering Orientation Learning Assistant at Florida International University from August 2014 to May 2016, providing tutoring and mentoring to engineering students, and successfully guiding a team to victory in a robotics competition. An internship at U.S. Stem Cell, Inc./Bioheart involved performing stem cell isolation for therapeutic applications and managing research documentation. Additionally, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the FIU Medical Photonics Lab, research focused on smart compression garments and pressure sensors, culminating in a presentation at the 2015 Biomedical Engineering Society Conference. Zachary holds a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Florida International University, earned in 2016.
