Elaine Ng has a wide range of work experience. In 2021, they are currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Magic Lifescience and as a Board Member at Biotech Partners Inc. In 2017, they were an Engineering Intern at a Stealth Mode Startup. From 2013-2017, they were a Head Teaching Assistant, Bioengineering Bootcamp Leadership Team, Postdoctoral Fellow, BioX Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellow, and NSF Graduate Research Fellow at Stanford Institutes of Medicine Summer Research Program. In 2012, they completed the Business Foundations Certificate Program at McCombs School of Business. In 2010, they were an Engineering SAO Tutor at Cockrell School of Engineering and an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Summer Intern at University of Texas at Austin. In 2009, they were an English Teacher at Overseas Compatriot AID.
Elaine Ng attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Honors, as well as a Business Foundations Certificate (BFP). Elaine then attended Stanford University from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Master's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Finally, they returned to Stanford University from 2013 to 2019, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
