Jared Nesvet has been working in the field of life sciences since 2013. Jared started their career as a Graduate Student in Professor Shan Wang's Research Group at Stanford University, where they utilized giant magnetoresistive (GMR) biosensors for development of circulating tumor DNA microarray assays. Jared also designed and optimized multiplexed mutation and methylation specific PCR assays with technology transfer to microarray end-point analysis. In 2021, they joined Magic Lifescience as a Senior Scientist. At Magic Lifescience, they developed microfluidic technology to assist surface functionalization of electric biosensors. Jared also integrated isothermal amplification and CRISPR detection in microfluidic channel for SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics. Jared'swork was a finalist in the XPRIZE Rapid COVID Test competition.
Jared Nesvet completed a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Rochester in 2013. Jared then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Stanford University, which they completed in 2020.
