Deran Naidoo

Deran Naidoo has worked in the analytics and business intelligence fields for over 10 years. Deran began their career in 2009 as a Junior Web & Applications Developer at NiTSAK, where they designed, developed, and maintained web development projects using ASP. NET/VB. NET MS SQL2008, HTML, CSS, and Telerik AJAX controls. In 2011, they moved to FUTURA FOOTWEAR, where they worked as an Oracle/Qlikview Developer, responsible for data processing, data integration scripting, data analysis, data cleansing, and systems analysis. In 2013, they joined Keyrus as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, and also worked as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant for Morgan Stanley. In 2019, they became the Analytics Lead at MagicOrange.

Deran Naidoo's education history includes a B Tech in Information Technology, NQF 7 from Durban University of Technology from 2009 to 2010, a National Diploma, NQF 6 from Durban University of Technology from 2006 to 2009, and attendance at Southlands Secondary School from 2001 to 2005 and Fairhaven Primary School. Deran also holds Qlikview 12 Business Analyst Certification and Qlikview 12 Data Architect Certification from Qlik, obtained in July 2018, as well as a Trifacta Wrangler Certification from Trifacta.
