Pete Hidalgo has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Starting in 1998, they served as the Director of Network Engineering and Installation at TE Connectivity, where they managed a team of over 150 employees and contractors with a total contract value of over $3 Billion and a direct budget of over $150 Million annually. In 2003, they moved to EY as the IT Finance Director for the USA IT Operations group, where they managed a $100 Million per year budget. In 2006, they joined LECG as a Senior Managing Consultant and in 2007, they moved to Deloitte as a Manager. In 2009, they returned to EY as a Senior Manager of IT Advisory Services, where they specialized in helping Fortune 100 companies transform their IT organizations. In 2014, they founded The Veterans Education Foundation, Inc. and served as President. In 2017, they joined Combined Public Communications as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer. Here, they were responsible for the day to day operations of the company and led the transformation of the company, significantly improving processes, establishing operating metrics, and creating great value for their owners and private equity partners. In 2020, they joined PHJ Management, Inc. as President. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Customer Officer at MagicOrange, where they serve as the trusted advisor for IT leaders who are looking to improve cost transparency, cost efficiency, and value delivery to their business customers through implementing the Magic Orange ITFM software solution.
Pete Hidalgo has an education history that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School from 2012 to 2014, where they studied Management. Pete also holds a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1978 to 1982, where they studied Engineering. Additionally, they hold certifications from ISO, ITIL, IVI-CMF, Project Management Institute, and Six Sigma.
