Melanie Hutchinson

Melanie Hutchinson has over 10 years of experience in product development and management. Melanie is currently the President & Partner at Magic Dusk, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Magic Dusk from January 2020 to January 2023. Before joining Magic Dusk, Melanie worked as a Product Development Consultant for their own business starting in November 2019.

From 2014 to 2019, Melanie worked at Tarte Cosmetics, where they held various positions including Director of Product Innovation, Director of Production, Senior Manager of Packaging Development, and Senior Manager of Product Development.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at HCT Packaging Inc. from November 2012 to May 2014. Before that, they were a Product Development Coordinator at Tarte, Inc. from June 2011 to November 2012, and a Product Development Assistant at Tarte, Inc. from September 2010 to May 2011. Melanie started their career as a Product Development Intern at Tarte Cosmetics from September 2009 to June 2010.

Melanie Hutchinson began their education in 2007 and completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cosmetics & Fragrance Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology. During the same period, they also obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Fashion Merchandising Management from the same institute.
