Bret Hanna

Bret Hanna is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at MagicSchool AI since January 2024, Bret previously held the position of Senior Vice President Of Engineering at Artifact Uprising® from February 2022 to January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Technical Product Manager at The Pro's Closet and founding Craftsy, where Bret also served as Vice President until the company was rebranded as Bluprint in 2018, prior to its acquisition in 2020. Earlier roles include Frontend Architect, Java Developer, and Frontend Developer at ServiceMagic, starting in June 2004. Bret holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Web Design from The Art Institutes, completed in 2004.
