Ali Shuaib has extensive experience in humanitarian work, particularly in mine action, having served as Community Liaison Manager at MAG (Mines Advisory Group) since November 2002. Roles include International Community Liaison Manager focusing on various programs in Iraq and Nigeria, as well as leading regional workshops. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Community Liaison Officer and Community Liaison Officer at UNICEF from October 2000 to October 2002, along with a role as a Social Worker at the University of Balamand in 2000. Education includes studies at Advanced Computer Technology College - Nabatieh from 2010 to 2012 and ACT College.

MAG shared the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize as a founding member of the ICBL (International Campaign to Ban Landmines), for its work to ban landmines.
