Jon Cunliffe

Jon Cunliffe is an experienced leader in humanitarian operations, currently serving as Country Director for the Mines Advisory Group since May 2023. Prior to this role, Jon held various positions within the International Medical Corps from 2013 to 2017, including Country Director and Regional Director for the Middle East, overseeing critical operations for refugees and emergency responses in Syria and Turkey. Previous experience includes serving as Country Director for Save the Children in multiple locations and as an Emergency Coordinator with UNICEF. Jon's career began at Action Contre la Faim, where responsibilities included Head of Mission from 1996 to 2002. Educational background includes studies at Bury Grammar School, Leeds College of Health, and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
