Sharmini Shadagopan

Sharmini Shadagopan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and protection services within the humanitarian sector. Currently serving as Program Manager at the Mines Advisory Group since August 2022, Sharmini focuses on donor and partner activities, including funding proposals and project administration. Prior to this, Sharmini worked with UNHCR as a Refugee Status Determination Associate, providing counsel to asylum seekers and contributing to gender equality initiatives. Sharmini's career also includes a significant tenure at the International Committee of the Red Cross, where leadership was provided in protection strategies and case management for missing persons in Sri Lanka. Educational qualifications include an LLM and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Human Rights Law from the University of London, alongside a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor's in Business Administration.
