Giorgio Giacalone

Giorgio Giacalone is a Homologation Specialist at Magirus GmbH since April 2023, responsible for ensuring vehicle compliance with EU Regulations 2018/858, 2019/2144, 2020/683, and ECE Regulations, as well as assisting in vehicle tests and preparing relevant documentation. Previous experience includes serving as a Soccer Referee for Associazione Italiana Arbitri from April 2011 to October 2023, and working as a CAD Designer at Iveco Group - MAGIRUS Italia S.r.l. from October 2022 to April 2023. Giorgio contributed to the Unibo Motorsport Formula SAE Team as an employee focusing on structure and aerodynamics between September 2020 and October 2022, and briefly worked as a CAD Designer at Mechinno in early 2022. Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, Giorgio holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
