Kara Cleary

Kara Cleary serves as the Chief Legal Officer at MagMutual since March 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Corporate Counsel. Prior to this role, Kara served as Senior Counsel for Litigation & Compliance at BlueLinx Corporation from September 2018 to February 2021. Kara began a litigation-focused career at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where a decade was spent as a Litigation Partner specializing in insurance coverage advice and litigation. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Valparaiso University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Conflict Studies from DePauw University.
